Preferred Behavioral Health Group in Asbury Park, NJ is seeking a Counselor Aide to support the DCP&P program in Monmouth County. The role focuses on receiving and scheduling referrals, coordinating urine drug screens, and maintaining logs with attention to detail.

You will work with the Assessment Counselor, assist with transporting clients and conducting home visits as needed, and communicate professionally in writing and verbally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Valid NJ driver's license in good standing.
• Knowledge of addictions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the referral process; receive and schedule incoming referrals.
• Collect urine drug screens in accordance with Chain of Custody procedure.
• Conduct home visits as needed and complete chain of custody drug screens.
• Transport clients as instructed and maintain the vehicle.
• Proficiently communicates—written and verbal; highly organized.
