The Poway Unified School District is looking to fill a vacant Counselor position at Abraxas High School.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Pupil Personnel Services credential with School Counseling Authorization. A Master’s degree is required and graduate work should include practicum and fieldwork, along with study in personality and learning theory, testing and measurement. California teaching credential is preferred.

• At least two years of successful teaching or related experience, and/or two years of successful counseling experience strongly preferred.

Job Summary

MATERIALS MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree
Graduate work should include successful practicum and fieldwork experience, personality and learning theory, and testing and measurement.
At least two (2) years of successful teaching or related experience, and/or two (2) years of successful counseling experience strongly preferred.

Credentials Required

A current California teaching credential is preferred.
