Job summary

The Counseling Center in New Jersey seeks a Licensed Associate Counselor to join its Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Counseling program. You will provide intake, assessments, individual sessions, and group facilitation to support patients and families.

Collaboration with the clinical team is essential to develop and monitor treatment plans. The ideal candidate holds LAC/LPC/LSW/LCSW credentials, has an active mental health license, and welcomes new graduates.

Qualifications

• Must have one of the following: LAC, LPC, LSW or LCSW.
• Mental Health license or certification, clean and active.
• New graduates welcome.
• Experience conducting group sessions.
• Flexibility and willingness are great attributes.

Responsibilities

• New patient intake and orientation.
• Conducts initial assessment of patient problems and needs and reports to clinical team to initiate treatment planning.
• Conducts individual sessions.

• Addresses patient's concerns and helps eliminate possibility of AMA.
• Provides Case Management.

Licensed Associate Counselor Schedule

• Full Time
• Monday - Friday
• 1PM - 9:30PM

Licensed Counselor Compensation

• Hourly rate competitive with experience and location
