Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
$65,000 to $67,000 per year; DOE
Under administrative direction, provides professional counseling services to students including clinical assessment, care coordination, crisis management, group therapy, and after hours on call support. Additionally, this role develops training opportunities for bachelors or masters level students, and provides supervision for training in effort of expanded care for students. This professional role also serves as a consultant to university constituents or family who reach out to the counseling center with concerns for a student. Counselors engage in work that aligns with their expertise to benefit the mental health of the student body.

Currently hiring for the following shift: Monday - Friday 8:0am - 5:00pm
Work occurs onsite, with office space in one of ASU's Counseling Services or Health Services locations unless specified permission granted.
When performing after hours on call, work occurs offsite with technology resources, with agreement to travel onsite for emergent community crisis events.
Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting, subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse.
Required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work.
Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds.
Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities which may i
