Job summary

Spero Health, Inc. seeks a licensed Counselor to join our teams in Paducah, KY and Murray, KY. You will support patients through counseling, case management, and medically assisted treatment in an integrated care setting that treats the whole person.

You will conduct assessments, deliver evidence-based counseling, educate patients, and help set realistic goals toward recovery. Licensure in CSW/LCSW/LPCC/LPCA/LMFT/LCADC is required, with at least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human services field related to substance use disorders.
• Minimum 1 year of full-time employment or internship in a human-services setting (or Master's degree in behavioral science).
• Licenses: CSW, LCSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, LCADC-A, LCADC.

This position is for a licensed counselor or social worker who supports the mission of “Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships” in an integrated team with patients receiving counseling, case management and medically assisted treatment. The Counselor's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Conduct initial assessment and ongoing patient care.
• Provide counseling to patients through evidenced-based practice.
• Provide patient education.
• Ensure accountability of treatment program and patient compliance through collaboration.
• Assist patients in creating realistic goals toward achieving freedom from addiction.
• Act as a clinic resource and assure compliance with HIPPA and CFR42 Part 2 regulations.

Requirements

LICENSED COUNSELOR/SOCIAL WORKER EDUCATION:

• Education: Minimum, Master's Degree in a human services field (psychology, sociology, social work, family studies, human services, counseling, nursing, or another human service degree program related to working with individuals with substance use disorders.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of full-time employment/internship working in a human-services setting OR Master's Degree in behavioral science, as defined above.
• License: CSW, LCSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, LCADC-A, LCADC
