Job summary

Sunrise Detox is a premier center for drug and alcohol detox, offering dignified treatment and comfortable accommodations for patients in Millbury, MA. As Counselor, you will conduct new patient intake, lead group sessions, and provide case management to support recovery.

You will facilitate orientation, address patient concerns, document in medical records, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a smooth detox experience. This is a full-time role with weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year experience in substance abuse field, detox preferred.
• Experience conducting group sessions.
• Minimum Education: Master’s working towards licensure OR Bachelor’s with certification.
• Flexibility and willingness are great attributes.

Sunrise Detox: Position Title: Counselor

Sunrise Detox is a premiere center for drug and alcohol detox. Sunrise promises to give you one of the most comfortable medical detox processes available. We believe in creating a different experience where our road to recovery is dignified. Our clients reside in comfortable modern, elegantly furnished rooms where good nutrition is also an essential part of the detoxification process. We offer individual and group counseling to clients and bring in 12 Step meetings to show clients they are not alone once they leave treatment.
