Job summary

McLeod Centers for Wellbeing in Hickory, NC is seeking a full-time Counselor to join our Opioid Treatment Program. You will craft person-centered treatment plans, monitor client progress, lead individual and group counseling, and connect patients with medical, mental health, and social supports.

CADC certification or Master’s licensed (LCAS/LMFT/LCSW/LCMHC) preferred, with ongoing supervision and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certified or licensed at master level; CADC or LCAS/LMFT/LCSW/LCMHC.
• Experience in addiction treatment and counseling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, recovery-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Craft person-centered treatment plans for patients in all stages of recovery.

McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is seeking a Full-time Counselor to join our Opioid Treatment Program at our Hickory, NC location.

How will you help us achieve our mission? You will:

• Be at the forefront of crafting person-centered treatment plans for patients in all stages of recovery.
• Play a pivotal role in monitoring and evaluating client progress, adjusting treatments as necessary for optimal outcomes.
• Lead individual and group counseling sessions to support both patients and their families.
• Connect patients with vital support services, such as medical evaluation, mental health, and social support. Your impact will extend beyond our doors!
• Participate in clinical supervision sessions to foster your professional growth and development.

What are the qualifications needed for this role?:

We're looking for certified (CADC) or master's degree-level, fully licensed/associate licensed Counselors (LCAS, LMFT, LCSW, LCMHC).
