Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Corrections Education Counselor for the Massachusetts Department of Corrections in Framingham. The role requires a BA/MA or 2 years equivalent experience in criminal justice, human services, education, or a closely related field.

DOC experience and/or Alcohol/Drug certification is preferred. The position is full-time with standard 40-hour weeks and potential overtime to meet program needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all inmates are provided with education in the assigned curriculum approved by the Department of Correction and are responsible for written documentation in the case records.
• Participating in a multi-disciplinary team meeting on a weekly basis or as directed.
• Working the hours required to meet the business needs of the organization including the ability to work more than 40 hours in a work week which may include evening and weekend programming.

Schedule:Full-time, 40 hours per week

Pay rate: $26.92/hour ($56,000 annually) If candidates are able to successfully complete and pass an internal Spanish Fluency Assessment, employees would be eligible for a 10% salary increase, $29.6154/hour (61,000 annually)
