Job summary

United Launch Alliance seeks an experienced Counsel, Operations to manage complex contracts across government and commercial programs. You will advise on risk, draft and negotiate a broad range of agreements, and shape policies for information protection and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a JD, active U.S. licensure, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and security.

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
Experience in corporate practice and complex contracts.
Ability to navigate multi-disciplinary teams and regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

Advising on legal and compliance risk across business teams.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating leases, vendor contracts, NDAs, MSAs and IP agreements.
Guiding IP protection, data rights, licensing and trademarks.
Handling facilities matters including leasing, construction, safety compliance and risk.
Collaborating with security, compliance, and IT teams on contractual terms.
Preparing corporate policies and advising on regulatory affairs.
Supervising outside counsel and coordinating with partners to maximize outcomes.
