Job summary

Nintendo of America in Redmond, WA, seeks an experienced in-house counsel to manage marketing, sponsorships, influencer programs, and related IP and contracts. You will partner with business teams across North America to enable campaigns while controlling risk.

The role requires at least five years as a practicing lawyer with marketing experience, strong IP and contracts law knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years as a practicing lawyer with marketing experience.
• Strong understanding of IP, marketing law, and contracts law.
• Experience with commercial law, entertainment law, and antitrust.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to marketing, advertising, sales, and communications teams across the US, Canada, and LATAM.
• Negotiate and draft complex contracts for promotions, sponsorships, media, IP licenses, and more.
• Advise on marketing campaigns and review advertising materials for compliance.
• Direct outside counsel and manage regulatory and IP matters.
• Assist with budget development and policy compliance.
