Job summary

The State of Connecticut Judicial Branch is seeking an attorney in Hartford to provide expert advice and recommendations on a wide variety of legal and policy issues. The role includes representing the Branch in court and before administrative agencies, and drafting and reviewing complex contracts, inter-agency agreements, policies, and legislative proposals.

Salary Range: $94,656 - $172,793 per year plus state benefits.

Hartford

The State of Connecticut Judicial Branch, Legal Services Unit located in Hartford is seeking a qualified attorney to, among other duties and responsibilities, provide expert advice and recommendations to the Branch on a wide variety of legal and policy issues; represent the Branch in court and before administrative agencies; and draft and review complex contracts, inter-agency agreements, policies, legislative proposals and various other legal documents.

Salary Range: $94,656 - $172,793/year – plus State of Connecticut benefits.

New employees begin at the minimum. The starting salary for existing state employees may be higher than the minimum, in accordance with existing Judicial Branch policy.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
