Job summary

FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation seeks an experienced Counsel to provide practical, business-focused legal advice for HLUS and FUJIFILM Biotechnologies. You will draft and negotiate commercial agreements, identify risks, and support strategic customer programs across multiple locations.

Working independently and with senior attorneys, you will contribute to global standards, templates, and training, while ensuring timely, customer-friendly outcomes that protect the company’s legal rights.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; NC bar admission preferred.
• 3-8 years of relevant experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or a mix, ideally supporting CDMO or life sciences.
• Strong contracting background with drafting and negotiating complex services, development, manufacturing, licensing, and confidentiality agreements.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate broad range of commercial agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, supply, development, manufacturing and services agreements, licenses, and NDAs.
• Advise Commercial, Program Management, and other teams on legal issues from customer collaborations, bids, and ongoing programs.
• Identify risks and provide practical mitigation, escalating high-risk matters to senior counsel or experts.
• Develop, maintain, and improve templates, playbooks, and contracting standards across FLBG.
