Bayer is seeking a Head of Cotton Germplasm to lead a cross-functional unit focused on improving cotton germplasm for global portfolios. The role drives strategy, talent development, and collaboration across regions and functions to meet evolving market needs.

You will oversee about 15 FTEs and 4–6 product teams, ensuring ethical practices, safety, and regulatory compliance while delivering value across Crop Science. US or Canada base options available.

Competenze

• PhD or MS with substantial leadership experience in breeding
• At least 5 years leading teams and driving technical strategy
• Minimum of 3 years breeding experience, preferably in cotton
• Strong knowledge of advanced breeding tech, analytics, genomics and genetics
• Ability to collaborate across regions and functions for complex problems
• Embraces and models Bayer leadership attributes (VACC)
