As a Quantitative Genetics Scientist, you conduct key quantitative genetics discovery research to deliver improved workflows, high‑quality lines, data packages, and prescriptions to the Product Design pipeline using the latest innovations in data science, genomics, quantitative genetics, computational biology, bioinformatics, and advanced genotypic, phenotypic, and environmental modeling; In this role, you execute the population and quantitative genetics technical strategy to design improved cohorts of germplasm aligned with Product Concept targets from initial crossing through handoff to Product Development, while supporting the implementation of Precision Breeding technical innovations in Product Design; You contribute strong technical expertise to breeding program design and optimization, breeding goal definition, optimization of automated crossing processes, genetic evaluation, and optimization of data acquisition, and you help identify key opportunities for new technology implementation and process improvement, all while supporting a collaborative, innovative, design‑centric culture and upholding Bayer’s Health, Safety & Environment, Compliance, Business Conduct, and Human Rights policies.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately between $22.75 to $47.75. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
