CIRCUIT OF THE AMERICAS LLC’s COTALAND is hiring a Steward / Dishwasher to support our Food & Beverage operations by keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and safe in a fast-paced theme park setting at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, TX.

The role emphasizes sanitation, teamwork, and consistent safety practices, with full-time and part-time opportunities and tips in addition to base pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Texas food handler certification required.
• Experience in kitchen stewarding or sanitation is preferred but training is provided.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and store all dishes, utensils, glassware, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house areas including kitchens, prep areas, walk-ins, storage rooms, floors, walls, and drains.
• Remove trash, recycling, and compost to maintain a safe work environment.

The Steward / Dishwasher at COTALAND plays a vital role in supporting our Food & Beverage operations by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. This position ensures sanitation standards are met so our culinary teams can deliver an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced theme park setting.

Requirements & Essential Functions:

• Clean, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, utensils, glassware, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Operate commercial dishwashing machines and manual ware washing equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of all back-of-house areas including kitchens, prep areas, walk-ins, storage rooms, floors, walls, and drains
• Remove trash, recycling, and compost throughout shifts to maintain a safe work environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety

• Assist culinary teams with basic support tasks as needed
• Support daily opening, operating, and closing procedures
• Follow all health department regulations, food safety guidelines, and COTALAND policies

• Ability to follow instructions and work well with others

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Obtain a Texas food handers certification.
• Previous kitchen, stewarding, or sanitation experience is preferred, but not required, training is provided.
• Physical Demand & Work Environments:
• Ability to stand, sit, use hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to squat, bend, twist, push/pull.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
• Work in extreme environments indoors/outdoors throughout the year.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud during events.

Pay & Benefits

Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour+ tips

Work Schedule:

This position is based on-site at COTALAND Theme Park at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas.

Crew Members should be available to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, rehearsals, special events, and seasonal peak operating periods.
