Job summary

COTALAND is seeking enthusiastic Photographers to capture memorable guest moments both indoors and outdoors across park locations. You will carry photography equipment and assist guests with viewing and purchasing high-quality photos.

Responsibilities include providing excellent guest service, guiding guests to photo options, and ensuring a positive experience during events and daily operations. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work outdoors in varied environmental conditions for 8–10 hours.
• Constant walking/standing up to 8–10 hours per day.
• Carry and lift up to 8–10 lbs. of camera equipment.
• Good hand-eye coordination for photography tasks.

• Sell Photo Packages, single photos, and digital options through a POS system.
• Assist and invite guests to view their photos.
• Provide a seamless guest experience by basic camera troubleshooting.
• Anticipate guests' needs and offer information about events and directions.
• Understand and follow image composition guidelines.
• Create memorable experiences for guests while capturing photos.
• Engage with guests and promote available photo offerings.
• Proactively acknowledge and engage with all Guests.

COTALAND Photographers approach guests to create and capture memorable moments through compelling photos. All our photographers are stationed both indoors and outdoors and will carry photography equipment to the various locations throughout the park.

Positions may include:

• COTALAND Entrance Photographer
• Character Experiences & Live Entertainment Photographer
• Character Meet & Greet Photographer
• Roaming Photographer
• Hot Lap Experience Photographer

What you'll do:

• Capture high-quality Guest photos by using cameras and photo technology
• Sell Photo Packages, single photos, and digital photo options to Guests through the use a POS system
• Assist and invite guests to view their photos
• Provide a seamless experience for Guests by learning basic camera trouble shooting
• Contribute to the Guest’s experience by anticipating their needs and offering information including events and directions
• Understand and use guidelines for image composition
• Create an individualized memorable experience for Guests while capturing their photos
• Look for opportunities to communicate with Guests and recommend the variety of service offerings available with our photo options
• Proactively acknowledge, engage, and interact with all Guests

Basic Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Flexibility in maneuvering outdoors, while exposed to varied environmental conditions for 8-10 hours (heat, cold, wind, rain, and sun)
• Constantly walking/standing up to 8-10 hours per day depending on operational schedule
• Continuously hold, carry, and lift up to 8-10 lbs. of camera equipment
• Conduct repetitive and frequent use of hands up to 8-10 hours capturing, reviewing, editing and fulfilling Guest photos
• Constantly bending/twisting at the waist, frequently bending/twisting of the head or neck
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
• Work in extreme environments outdoors throughout the year.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud during events.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with POM VOM photo systems and SHIFT 4 POS equipment preferred but not required
