Job summary

Blessing Hospital is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide therapy services under Occupational Therapist supervision, focusing on daily living skills, upper extremity strength, endurance and fine motor function.

You will serve patient populations from pediatric to geriatric, adapting activities to the individual’s developmental level, and participate in the hospital's mission and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved educational program for COTA.
• Illinois COTA license or confirmation that licensure is in process.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services under OT supervision.
• Address daily living, upper extremity strengthening, endurance and fine motor functioning.
• Serve a broad age range from child to geriatric while aligning care with the patient's developmental level.
