Job summary

STHS Edinburg is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a registered OT in accordance with the plan of care. You will screen patients, educate patients and families, and administer exercises and modalities to patients with varied physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs.

The role may involve travel between facilities and requires adherence to the organization’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.

Qualifications

• Must travel between facilities as needed.
• Clinical experience preferred.
• Must have and maintain BCLS certification per AHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Screen patients and assess needs per plan of care.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, modalities and rehabilitative procedures.
• Implement therapies for physical, cognitive and psychosocial conditions.
