Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Belknap County Nursing Home, Laconia, NH seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for full-time, part-time, or PRN options. Join a therapist-led organization delivering compassionate care in a skilled nursing setting.

Pay ranges from $35 to $38 per hour based on experience. You will implement treatment plans, monitor progress, document findings, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient independence and daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Associate OTA degree from an accredited school.
• NBCOT certification as an OTA.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Treatment Implementation: Deliver individualized therapy based on plans developed by the supervising OT, including activities to improve daily living skills.
• Progress Monitoring & Documentation: Track patient progress and maintain accurate records per facility policies.
• Collaboration & Patient Education: Work with PT/OT/nursing to educate patients and families on exercises, adaptive equipment and independence strategies.
• Therapeutic Activities & Support: Lead or assist patients with exercises and daily living tasks in a positive, supportive environment.
