Ernest Health, Inc. is seeking a COTA to join the Rehabilitation Hospital of Southern New Mexico in Las Cruces, NM. This role supports our goals of patient-centered rehabilitation under an OT team.

Full-time, part-time and per diem options are available, with benefits including medical, 401K, life insurance, and wellness programs. Current licensure as a COTA and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a COTA per state guidelines.
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR card required.
• One year of direct patient care experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative services under an occupational therapist for patients with physical impairments.
• Monitor progress and document patient outcomes; integrate hospital mission into daily practice.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

Responsibilities

Under the direction of an occupational therapist, provides rehabilitative services to individuals with physical impairments. Monitors the patient’s program and records patient’s progress for the occupational therapist. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
