Green Bay Rehabilitation Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. The role involves delivering rehabilitative services under an occupational therapist and supporting patients recovering from life-changing injuries and illnesses.

We offer a pay range of $31.50 to $37.65 per hour, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a COTA per state guidelines.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • One year of direct patient care experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking to evaluate treatment options.
  • Awareness of treatment costs and financial support related to care.
  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional ethics.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with others.
  • Ability to operate necessary equipment for the job.

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of an occupational therapist, provides rehabilitative services to individuals with physical impairments.
  • Monitors patient progress and records progress notes.
  • Integrates the hospital’s mission and guiding principles into daily practice.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Current licensure as a COTA required per state guidelines.
  • Current Basic Life Support card required.
  • One year of direct patient care experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

  • Ability to move quickly from one task to another and to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to use appropriate equipment necessary for the job
Responsibilities

Under the direction of an occupational therapist, provides rehabilitative services to individuals with physical impairments. Monitors the patient's program and records patient's progress for the occupational therapist. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
