Job summary

Rehabilitation Hospital of Southern New Mexico in Las Cruces, NM, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our patient‑centered care team.

Under the supervision of an occupational therapist, you will provide rehabilitative services to individuals with physical impairments, monitor progress, and help advance our mission of compassionate, high‑quality care. We offer full-time, part-time and per diem options with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a COTA required per state guidelines.
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR card required.
• One year of direct patient care experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of an occupational therapist, provides rehabilitative services to individuals with physical impairments.
• Monitors the patient's program and records patient's progress for the occupational therapist.
• Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.

Qualifications

Required Skills:
