Job summary

Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Arizona, part of Ernest Health, Inc., is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our patient care team in Flagstaff, AZ. You will work under an occupational therapist to deliver rehabilitative services to patients recovering from injuries or illnesses.

The position requires COTA licensure and CPR/BLS, with a preference for at least one year of direct rehabilitation experience.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a COTA required.
  • Current BLS/CPR card required.
  • One year of direct patient care experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of an occupational therapist, provides rehabilitative services to individuals with physical impairments.
  • Monitors the patient's program and records patient's progress for the occupational therapist.
  • Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.

Rehabilitation Hospital of Northern Arizona. Our hospital has been ranked in the Top 10% nationally for rehabilitative care for 3 years and has earned The Joint Commission’s Brain Injury Certification and Stroke Rehabilitation Certification. At our 40-bed hospital, we provide specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services to our patients, serving Northern Arizona and surrounding areas. We see patients who often are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.

We are seeking a full-time COTA to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Qualifications
Required Skills
  • Current licensure as a COTA required per state guidelines.
  • Current Basic Life Support/CPR card required.
  • One year of direct patient care experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.
