Qualifications

• Currently completing, completed, or recently graduated from an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Must have or be eligible to obtain an active California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license prior to practicing.

Responsibilities

• Implement and carry out established occupational therapy treatment plans under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide occupational therapy interventions according to the established treatment plan.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, functional activities, therapeutic exercises, mobility, transfers, balance, coordination, and other occupational therapy interventions.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and report changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, caregivers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
