Job summary
Life Care Center of Port Orchard is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide direct rehab care under the supervision of an OT in a skilled nursing facility. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to help patients achieve functional progress and improve quality of life in a patient-centered environment.
Requirements include NBCOT certification at hire, graduation from an accredited OT program (ASOT), and current state licensure.
Qualifications
- NBCOT certification required at hire.
- Graduate of accredited occupational therapy program (ASOT).
- Currently registered/licensed in the applicable State; active license required.
Responsibilities
- Follow occupational treatment plans under OT supervision.
- Chart patient progress promptly and accurately.
- Utilize therapy software and documentation tools to record care.
- Communicate effectively on an interdisciplinary team and with patients.
