Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a direct-hire role in a Skilled Nursing facility in Watsonville, CA. This in-office, full-time position requires licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA in the state, with new grads encouraged to apply and SNF experience preferred.

You will provide patient treatment under supervision, maintain documentation per facility guidelines, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current and active state Occupational Therapist Assistant license -or eligibility for licensure in the state of assignment.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Skilled Nursing experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Flexibility and adaptability in new clinical environments.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment for patients across a wide range of diagnoses under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility guidelines and procedures.
• Demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and responsibility while delivering high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate effectively as a team member and contribute to a positive, supportive work environment.
