Job summary

Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Mount Juliet, TN is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. This position offers Full Time and PRN opportunities with a sign-on bonus and competitive rates.

The COTA will assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans, help residents regain independence in daily living activities, and document sessions accurately.

Qualifications

• Current Tennessee COTA license.
• Graduate of an accredited COTA program.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans for residents.
• Provide therapy services to help patients regain independence in daily living activities.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and timely in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Monitor and report patient progress or concerns to the Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Uphold all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.
