Job summary

Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is actively seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our nursing and rehabilitation team in Gallatin, TN. This full-time role offers a supportive environment focused on patient progress and quality care.

Responsibilities include assisting the OT, documenting sessions, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. PRN options are also available, with sign-on bonuses and competitive rates for dedicated professionals.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Tennessee.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans for residents.
• Provide therapy services to help patients regain independence in daily living activities.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and timely in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Monitor and report patient progress or concerns to the Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Uphold all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.
