Job summary

Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. This full-time role includes a sign-on bonus and highly competitive rates.

You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans and help residents regain independence in daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Current COTA license in Tennessee
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans for residents
• Provide therapy services to help patients regain independence in daily living activities
• Document treatment sessions accurately and timely in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Monitor and report patient progress or concerns to the Occupational Therapist
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Uphold all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures
