Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Aide in Philadelphia to join our team. The role focuses on evaluation, planning, and supervision of therapeutic activities in the sensory room for individuals with disabilities.

The position requires an Associate Degree in OTA, a PA license, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Monday–Friday first shift with some flexibility; comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active PA state license required.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of AOTA code of ethics and supervision guidelines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation and treatment planning for sensory room activities.
• Deliver prescribed treatments and monitor progress; adjust plans as needed.
• Provide in-service education to aides and staff on therapy topics.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and facility staff.
• Co-sign documentation as required and ensure safety during sessions.
