Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified occupational therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team. Working under the guidance of an occupational therapist, you will help treat patients by following a plan of care developed by therapists.

You will assist with implementing treatment programs, documenting patient responses, and communicating with the rehab team to ensure quality outcomes and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Assists with treatment plans under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Delivers occupational therapy interventions as prescribed.
• Records patient progress and responses after each visit.
• Communicates with therapists, directors, rehab staff regularly.
• Operates standard occupational therapy equipment as directed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
