Job summary

Deercreekseniorliving is seeking a certified occupational therapy assistant to evaluate patients, document progress, and teach skills necessary for independent living. The ideal candidate must have a graduate degree from an accredited OT assistant program and possess excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed where the HHA is located if licensure is required.
• Must be eligible for or have taken the OT assistant certification examination.
• Requires a minimum of one year of clinical experience as a certified occupational therapy assistant.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the ongoing evaluation of patient’s functional status.
• Maintains appropriate clinical records and notes.
• Participates in teaching new skills or retraining patients.
