Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN opportunity at Annandale Healthcare Center in Annandale, VA. The COTA will support residents by implementing treatment plans under OT supervision, educating staff and families, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifying candidates will hold an accredited two-year associate degree in COTA and a valid or pending state license, with the chance to work across multiple site locations to meet residents'

Qualifications

COTA education from an accredited two-year associate degree program.
Valid or pending State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License.

Responsibilities

Help clients improve quality of life by compensating for limitations and aiding re-entry to work and daily activities.
Implement treatment plans under supervision of an Occupational Therapist and train staff and families.
Comply with rehab and facility documentation requirements under OT supervision.
Treat residents at multiple locations to meet diverse needs.

Education

COTA education (associate degree)

State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License (valid or pending)
