Job summary

Orchard View Post Acute in Idaho is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our rehab team full-time. You’ll help residents regain everyday skills and build relationships as they return to independence.

Responsibilities include carrying out treatment plans, teaching adaptive equipment use, tracking progress, and coordinating with PT, speech, nursing, and families. Documentation in the electronic health record is essential.

Qualifications

• Active Idaho COTA license or ability to obtain one.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• NBCOT certification required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans developed by the OT.
• Help residents build strength, coordination, and independence in daily activities.
• Teach residents and families how to use adaptive equipment and safe techniques at home.
• Track progress and report changes to the OT.
• Collaborate with PT, speech, nursing, and families to reach goals.
• Maintain clear documentation in the electronic health record.
