Job summary

Ernest Health, Inc. is seeking a Per Diem Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Laredo, Texas, to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. The role supports occupational therapy under a licensed therapist, with emphasis on patient progress tracking and adherence to hospital guiding principles.

The position requires COTA licensure, BLS/CPR, and prior rehab experience is preferred. Per diem schedule offers flexibility and exposure to diverse rehabilitation cases in a bilingual,

Monitors the patient's program and records patient's progress for the occupational therapist. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.

Qualifications
Required Skills
  • Current licensure as a COTA required per state guidelines.
  • Current Basic Life Support/CPR card required.
