Job summary

Central California Rehabilitation Hospital in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a COTA for per diem coverage. You will work under the supervision of an occupational therapist to deliver rehabilitative services to patients with physical impairments and track progress in their therapy programs.

We value a compassionate, patient-centered approach and require state licensure as a COTA and current BLS/CPR certification. Weekend or weekday PRN availability supports our rehab services for the community.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Current licensure as a COTA required per state guidelines.
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR card required.
• One year of direct patient care experience in rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of an occupational therapist, provides rehabilitative services to individuals with physical impairments. Monitors the patient’s program and records patient’s progress for the occupational therapist. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
