HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support therapy services in our west Miami-Dade campus. The role involves providing therapeutic modalities under the Occupational Therapist’s supervision, administering treatments and assisting with patient care plans.

Responsibilities include communicating effectively, contributing to program growth, and actively participating in infection control and safety programs.

Qualifications

• COTA certification required.
• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• Associate degree required.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic modalities of treatment under supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Administer treatments and physical agents as directed by the Occupational Therapist after evaluation.
• Communicate and assist in resolving problems; contribute to performance improvement and program growth.
• Participate in infection control, equipment training, safety and fire safety programs.
