Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans to improve residents' functional abilities.
• Conduct Occupational Therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Help residents develop skills and strategies to perform activities of daily living.
• Monitor resident progress and report to occupational therapists and other healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions and resident progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our residents.
