Job summary

Career Links is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility setting. The COTA collaborates with a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver patient-centered care to residents with diverse needs.

This role is ideal for a COTA who enjoys geriatric care and thrives in an interdisciplinary team environment. A full-time schedule and supportive staff are provided to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Current COTA license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Experience in long-term care or SNF setting preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Competitive weekly compensation (based on experience).
• Consistent caseload.
• Supportive therapy team and facility staff.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans as established by the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents with therapeutic activities to improve ADLs, mobility, strength, coordination, and safety.
• Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with the therapy team, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.
