Qualifications

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Experience in long-term care or SNF setting preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans as established by the Occupational Therapist
• Assist residents with therapeutic activities to improve ADLs, mobility, strength, coordination, and safety
• Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Communicate effectively with the therapy team, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines
