Job summary

Seaport Scripps Home Health is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide home health services in South Inland San Diego County. The role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will work under the supervision of an OT, help patients regain independence, assess home safety, and document progress while collaborating with the care team. California license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Active California COTA license.
• Minimum 1 year of COTA clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services under supervision of a Registered OT.
• Assist patients in regaining independence with daily activities.
• Evaluate home environments for safety and accessibility.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans.
