Job summary

Seaport Scripps Home Health is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver home health therapy under the supervision of an OT. You will help patients regain independence in daily activities and assess home safety in Carlsbad and Encinitas.

Qualifications

• Active California COTA License.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical COTA experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Assist patients in regaining independence with daily activities
• Evaluate home environments for safety and accessibility
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans
