Job summary

Seaport Scripps Home Health in La Mesa, CA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver home-based therapy under OT supervision. The position serves the South Inland San Diego County area with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active California COTA License.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a COTA.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Assist patients in regaining independence with daily activities.
• Evaluate home environments for safety and accessibility.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans.
