We are seeking a COTA who shares our vision to enhance living and care for seniors!

Essential Functions

1. Provide treatment to residents/clients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities through therapeutic use of everyday activities, aiming for development, recovery, and improvement of daily living and working skills. All treatments are conducted as ordered by a physician and in accordance with Ohio state regulations.
2. Practice under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L), communicating resident/client progress or status promptly.
3. Develop and evaluate the plan of care collaboratively with the patient, their representatives, and caregivers.
4. Provide education and counseling to patients and caregivers.
5. Maintain timely communication with physicians and other healthcare practitioners involved in the care plan.
6. Screen residents according to facility policy.
7. Complete all documentation accurately and promptly following facility/agency policies.
8. Assist with marketing and program development as needed.
9. Maintain productivity levels to meet facility/agency goals.
10. Stay updated with current knowledge in occupational therapy through ongoing education and training.
