Job summary

HomeFirst Home Healthcare in Lebanon, TN is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for full-time home health visits. Earn per-visit pay $45-$50 and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package with flexible scheduling.

The COTA administers occupational therapy in patients' homes under supervision, improves function, educates families, and maintains care plans and progress notes. LPN licensure and CPR are required, with 1+ year in private duty or home health preferred.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse educational program.
Current LPN license in the state of practice.
Minimum of one year of LPN experience in private duty, home health, hospice, hospital or SNF; private duty/home healthcare preferred.
Current CPR certification.
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

Implements occupational therapy in patients' homes under supervision.
Improves or minimizes residual physical disabilities and restores function.
Instructs patients and families in home programs and fine motor exercises.
Attends all patient care conferences and maintains care plans and progress notes.
