Job summary

HomeFirst Home Healthcare in Lebanon, TN seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our home health field team. This full-time role delivers occupational therapy services to patients in their homes under physician orders and the supervision of an OT director.

We offer competitive pay of $45–$50 per visit, flexible scheduling and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Improves or minimizes residual physical disabilities of the patient and returns the individual to an optimum and productive level within the patient’s capabilities.
• Instructs the patient and family members in home programs and fine motor movement exercises.
• Attends all patient care conferences as scheduled.
• Updates care plans for each patient visit in a timely manner and assists in preparing clinical and progress notes.
