Job summary

The Riverside Premier Rehabilitation and Healing Center in New York is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to carry out best-practice treatments under supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The COTA will provide care aligned with goals set by the OT and document progress accordingly.

Candidates must hold a valid state license, have experience in long-term or geriatric care preferred, and demonstrate strong documentation and patient service skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state license and registration.
• Experience with long-term/geriatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation and progress notes.
• Timely completion of weekly progress notes.
• Collaborates with disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Professional and punctual in all assignments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best-practice treatments under supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide treatment aligned with goals developed by the OT.
• Document patient progress on weekly progress notes.
• Collaborate with all disciplines for optimal patient care.
• Report to work on time and adhere to scheduled hours.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
