Job summary

Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support therapy services under the supervision of an OT. Deliver treatments aligned with OT goals and provide feedback through proper documentation.

Ideal candidates hold a valid state license, have experience in long-term or geriatric care, exhibit outstanding patient service, and maintain timely, professional documentation. The role offers growth opportunities and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress notes in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence.
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide treatment by adhering to specific goals developed by the OT.
• Provide feedback to supervision occupational therapist via documentation or other facility policy methods.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation
