Job summary

Quality Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Watertown, TN seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to carry out treatment plans under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist. You will document patient progress weekly and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.

Must hold a valid state license to practice as a COTA and demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and exceptional patient service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence.
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment under supervision of Occupational Therapist.
• Carry out best practice treatments to achieve OT goals.
• Offer feedback to supervising therapist through documentation or facility policy.
