Job summary

Quality Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support the Occupational Therapy team in delivering patient-centered care in a rehabilitation setting.

The COTA will implement treatment plans under the supervision of an OT, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure high-quality outcomes for long-term and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not required.
• Well-versed in documentation writing.
• Document patient progress on weekly progress notes in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Demonstrates exceptional patient service and clinical excellence.
• Punctual and professional in attendance and behavior.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.

• Carry out best-practice treatments under OT supervision.
• Document progress and report to supervising OT as required by policy.
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to deliver patient-centered care.
